faculty, staff, students and bus drivers know that I had a sincere interest in their efforts. The opportunity for open communication would be a priority. My experience, 35 years, in education as principal, classroom teacher, guidance counselor and coach have provided some good insight. I will welcome the comments/concerns from the people of this community regarding our educational system and keep an open mind to do what is best for our young people.
2. The potential to be one of the top school systems in the state; the media centers at both schools provide excellent services; faculties, as a whole, demonstrate a sincere willingness to guide, direct and teach our children. The size of our school system allows students an identity and, to a point, lessens bureaucracy.,
3. Accountability in some areas needs to be improved. Some procedures need a greater degree of consistency. The community needs to get itself more involved.
4. Issues will be 1) Educational philosophies — how to best serve the needs of our youth. 2) curriculum offerings — Are they meeting the needs of our children? 3) budget alio
