Once again, this October, just as the swallows traditionally come back each year to Capistrano, California, the buzzards return to Hinckley, Ohio, and Punxsatawny Phil emerges will be putting in their annual appearance in our area and we at The 1 lagerstown Almanack will be expecting them to show up at Woolly Bear Headquarters.
The contest began Oct 1 and the deadline for entries will be Oct. 31. The two categories once again will be the “Cutest and Cuddliest” and the "Biggest and Woolliest.”
The person entering each winning candidate will receive SI00 and the runners up in each category will receive with our compliments six copies of the 1996 Almanack.
