5. I have, on a few occasions, made the bus trip to Piedmont to see what it was like. It was long — about 45 minutes each way. There are many good offerings at Piedmont. It would be nice for our students to have access to these courses here.

2. The school is not so large that the students get lost in the system. Small but excellent faculty with good educational background. Good technological support.

3. Compared to most other schools in the state, Rappahannock doesn’t have the resources to have a good music (band) program nor does it have an expanded athletic program such as football. The overall curriculum may not be as good for the same reason. Standards of learning may also be lower as well as low test scores as a result of a limited curriculum.
