Kermit Weakley
Kermit Ashford Weakley, 80, of Washington died on Thursday, Oct. 5 at Warren Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 3, 1915, in Etlan to the late Upton Graves and Myra Dulaney Weakley.
Mr. Weakley was a member of the Etlan United Methodist Church, a member of the Rappahannock Lions Club for 25 years and a life member of the Lorton American Legion Post #162.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary K. Weakley.
Mr. Weakley was preceded in death by his sister, Grace Weakley.
Graveside;services with military honors was held on Friday, Oct. 6 in Culpeper National Cemetery with the Rev. L. Starke Jones officiating.
Found & Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Vera Partlow
Vera Knighting Partlow, 87, of Culpeper died on Monday, Oct. 2 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
She was born in Slate Mills on Dec. 11, 1907, to the late Wise Dodson and Mary Louise Sisk Dodson.
Her husband was the late Reid Brown Partlow Sr.
Survivors include one son, Reid B. Partlow Jr. of Culpeper; one daughter, Peggy Bauckman of Culpeper and one sister, Miss Lovie Dodson of Culpeper.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 6 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Cook officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
