Mike Doyle began creating his steel sculpture “Tree of Life” when he moved to Rappahannock County six years ago.
The sculpture, which is finished except for sandblasting part of the base, stands over seven feet tall. It is created completely from steel except for a cobalt glass globe and the walnut and oak base. Its majestic height and its beauty command attention, and because of the intricacy of the artwork, viewers find themselves spending a lot of time looking at it.
