Randy Daymude of Amissville reported that several items were stolen from his unlocked Toyota pickup parked at his residence on U.S. 211. Missing from the truck were a blue carry-all, a brown Aigner wallet, Timex watch, credit cards, two $100 bills and four $20 bills, totalling $334. On Tuesday, Sheriff Woodward said that he has a suspect and an arrest warrant is being obtained.
Last Thursday at 12:35 p.m., Sgt. Newlin said that Goldie Dodson, 23, of Madison, was driving a 1990 Geo on Route 231 .lmile south of Route 6&1, when she lost control of the car and ran qff the left side of the road. The car struck some trees and overturned on top of a fence. She was uninjured, but the Geo sustained $7,000 worth of damage. Trooper Sean Knick charged her with insufficient tire tread.
