Bland contest set

The Rappahannock Lions Club will once again sponsor the annual Bland Music contest on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. at The Theatre in Washington. The Lions Club has participated in the event for many years as part of a statewide program dedicated to encouraging students’ skills and to provide a showcase for their unique talents. As in past years, cash awards to the winners and certificates of participation to all students who perform will be contributed by the Lions Club.
