John Harrison Powers, 56, of Flint Hill died Friday, Feb. 18 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Feb. 21 at Orlean Cemetery by the Rev. Ernest Long.
Mr. Powers was bom Dec. 26, 1943 in Rappahannock County, son of the late John Harold and Catherine Long Powers.
He was a Virginia Cattleman, a member of American Agricultural Movement since 1970 and 4-H All Star member.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy H. Powers; a daughter, Leslie C.P. Caton of Linden and a brother, George E. Powers of Flint Hill.
Royston Funeral Home in Marshall was in charge of the arrangements.
