The Usual Suspects play American roots music: rock and roll dance tunes, blended with blues, ballads, and a little bit of country, along with alternative music woven-in for good measure.
The Usual Suspects celebrate five decades of music favorites, spanning from Elvis Presley to Elvis Costello.
They have performed in various incarnations for the last six years, participating in community festivals, fundraisers for the Windmore Foundation for the Arts Inc., domestic violence awareness vigils, numerous clubs and roadhouses, and for the Bluemont Concert Series.
Members are: David Leckie Gilmore on lead and rhythm guitar, harmonica, and lead vocals; Donna Lynn Rector, vocalist; Bill Hughes on rhythm guitar and vocals; Lee Goldsborough on bass; Darrell Dixon on drums; and Vince Vala on lead and rhythm guitar and lead vocals.
