Ian Milne, longtime huntsman for the Fairfax Hunt, died Jan. 19 after a nineyear battle with cancer. A native of Yorkshire, England, Milne worked for three British hunts before moving to t Canada’s Hamilton Hunt in 1971. He worked as huntsman to the Sedgefield Hunt in North Carolina before coming to Fairfax in 1981. Here, he is pictured at a hound show with friend Gerald Keal of the Old Dominion Hounds.
