Ruth F. Clark

Hometown: Washington Occupation: Wife, mother, grandmother and retired. Accomplishments: Mrs. Clark was born and raised in the Washington area. Mrs. Clark and her husband, Edward are the parents of two daughters. They have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The Clarks were high school sweethearts and this upcoming October they will be celebrating 54 years of marriage. Mrs. Clark is one of the oldest members of the Washington Baptist Church, where she remains very active. She is in charge of the annual April Spring Event called Grandma’s Attic. In addition to her church involvements, Mrs. Clark has also done volunteer work with the Red Cross, Cancer Society and the Washington Fire and Rescue Department.
