The Orange County Foxhunters’ Series will now exclude from competition any horse and rider combination that has won five races over fences prior to Jan. 1, 2000. A rider that has won five races may enter series events with another horse, or a horse may be sold or leased to a rider who has not won five races with him, but the pair cannot continue to compete.

Also new this year, foxhunters’ entries are open to riders who have not won two races over fences (in any other race division or NSA sanctioned) for five years prior to Jan. 1, 2000. The previous rule only allowed one outside victory.
