The Amissville Health and Fitness Club meets every Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Amissville United Methodist Church. If you want to go and see what’s going on you are more than welcome.
Gray Ghost Vineyard is planning a Spring Barrel Tasting on March 18 and 19. You will receive a wine glass with the Gray Ghost logo on it and appetizers. It should be a real experience, I’ve never had wine out of a barrel. If you want more information call Amy Kellert at 937-4869.
Also, if anyone is interested in going on a missionary trip to help the residents of Franklin, the Baptist Church is sending a group on March 911. Painters, dry-wall hangers, carpenters, roofers and gophers are all needed. If you or your group would like to go or make a materials donation, contact Wes Mills at 937-6159.
A lot of people have been asking how they could support the fire department. They have bingo every Monday night and they always accept tax deductible donations. Jack Atkins is the president and can be reached at 937-5282 if you would like more information.
