• Third Grade students at RCES have been involved in SOL “Predictor” Testing this week. Fifth Grade will be tested in the near future. The purpose of this preliminary test is to see how much the students have mastered so far, and which areas need additional emphasis, before the actual SOL tests are administered later this year.
• In addition to this practice, untested grades (second, fourth, etc.) will take a test at the end of this year to determine their levels of proficiency. These test scores will travel with the students to the next grade, and will provide
