On Oct. 16 and 17 the students of the Rappahannock County High School collected a total of $220 that will be donated to America's Fund for Afghan Children. The words of President Bush resonated clearly for the entire student body when he stated that giving a dollar “not only enriches your life, but enriches the life of our 031100.” Each student gave what he or she could afford, and the effort was a successful expression of the spirit of compassion that is an essential element of Rappahannock County. Joe Perine, Principal of RCHS, pictured above, said, “We at RCHS are proud to be members of this community and proud to be Americans.”
