Leaving Florida on Friday, the Joel Peregory family flew home, a much shorter time in the air, while the Heflin family and the other Peregorys stopped off for two days at Myrtle Beach, S.C. doing shopping again, this time at “Barefoot Landing”.

Leaving there, the next stop was for dining in Fredericksburg, arriving home on Sunday.

Naturally the three families needed rest, but they report one of the most enjoyable vacations in a long time.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dean in Dunn, N.C.

Forest Wharton and son Jonathan, Marty Wharton and sons, Zain and Phillip, Gary Wharton, Joseph Peregory, and Kevin and Jason Grigsby spent from Wednesday through the weekend on a bow hunting trip to Highland County, near George Washington National Forest.
