Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer, Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Heflin and children, Michael, Krystal and Jacob, Bobby Moore and Amber Long, all local and Joel Peregory and children, Kenny and Heidi of Front Royal have returned from a ten day vacation in Kissemmee, Fla., where they had reservations at the Orange Lake Resort and Country Club.
Joel Peregory and children Kenny and Heidi flew down leaving National Airport on Friday, going by Dallas, Fort Worth, Texas, where they had a layover of seven hours, due to security reasons and proceeded on into Orlando Airport.
Activities at the resort included the putt-putt golf contest, ping pong contest, and lots of water sports.
At Sea World was the Shamu, the whale performing tricks and the dolphin show.
They also visited .Gatorland where they witnessed the alligator shows, including feed the alligators and “wrestle” between an alligator and a man. The children got to set on an alligator and they all partook of “alligator nuggets”.
Joe and his family traveled to Clermont, Fla. where they shopped at the Oullett Mall.
Another interesting event was the exciting “pet show”, here cats and dogs did all kinds of tricks, dogs chasing cats, cats chasing rats and skunks chasing all animals and more exciting were “pigs” riding tractors, scooters and surfboards.
