Butch Zindel took the opposing view and asked that the applications be tabled. He said that he thought that the silos would have a “major visual impact,” and he suggested that there were better solutions.

Chairman Werner Krebser gave an emotional appeal for an alternatives to the proposed silos, noting that he had identified other sites and proposed that they he investigated so that we “can do away with all three silos.” Mr. Krebser said that he was “amazed that people say they like silos.—I decided I’ve got to do away with the silos.”
