This month club members entered grasses and mums for horticulture competition. Blue ribbons went to Charlotte Laing, Celine Siira, Helen Fairfax, Ruth Baumgardner, Mary Priest, and Susan Jones.
Blue ribbons for floral design were awarded to Louise Bondelid, Celine Siira, Jo-an Getsinger, and Joanne Tepper.
Hostesses for the meeting were Joanne Tepper, Pat Whorton, and Susan Jones.
Next month’s meeting will include a demonstration of innovative holiday decorations members can create themselves.
In early December the Rappahannock County Garden Club will again be selling Christmas wreaths, garlands, and swags that members make themselves from greens cut fresh in county.
The greens workshop days are Dec. 3, 4, and 5. Watch for more information on ordering these special greens.
