Eleanor Cox, one of the regions most accomplished watercolor painters, will show her newest work in Long View Gallery in Sperryville from Oct. 27 through Nov. 19 with an opening reception on Oct. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Ms. Cox specializes in watercolors that feature color and light in the landscape and garden. Her work focuses on Virginia but she has traveled abroad for 12 years to paint en plein air in England, Ireland, France and Italy.
Ms. Cox holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and she is an artist member of the Southern Watercolor Society, The Baltimore Watercolor Society, The Potomac Valley
