Watercolorists and the Virginia Watercolor Society (of which she is a former president). She has been included in three Allied Artists of America exhibitions.
Ms. Cox was one of 16 artists from across the country (including Patton Wilson of Sperryville) invited by Watercolor Magazine and the Forbes family to spend an intensive week painting at the Forbes ranch in Southern Colorado. Paintings from the workshop were exhibited in the Forbes Gallery in New York.
Ms. Cox’s work is in the collections of Wachovia Bank, Philip Morris Corporation, CSX, First Union Bank, James River Corporation and many other private and corporate collections.
