Taxes: Have you pledged not to raise taxes in Virginia? Would you vote for a tax increase to fund higher education needs in the state?

Louderback: “I have pledged not to raise taxes and I would prefer to make sure we are doing everything we can and doing what we are supposed to be doing properly in our government agencies first before we start to raise any taxes.”

Pollack: “I have made no such pledge, and I think it would be irresponsible to do so considering the possible billion dollar budget hole that we are going to have.
