Allen Louderback (R) of Luray, the current 15th District representative in the Virginia House of Delegates, and his challenger Brad Pollack (I) of Basye, recently talked with the Rappahannock News about ' their positions on several issues.
Local residential growth control: If elected, would you support legislation aimed at pro- \ viding local jurisdiction with additional means to control i growth? If yes, what types of i controls would you advocate?
Louderback: “I think local 1 government ought to have more ; leeway in how they plan. Local government has control to a degree now, if they do a good | comprehensive plan, and they do they’re planning and zoning well.”
Pollack: “I am basically in i favor of impact fees... and I am very sympathetic to the need here in Shenandoah County. There needs to be more advancement along land use control, and we need to bring ourselves into the modem era here. i
