Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier spent a recent weekend in Cerafoss, Md.

Mrs. Mae Baltzinger of Edgewater, Fla. is here visiting her son and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Robinson Mark, Misty and Timmy.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the ^family of Mr. Robert Sisk, a former Rappahannock native, who passed away at Orange County Nursing Home.

As we traveled down Route 522 Sunday morning to church, we observed many orange bags of trash sitting by the side of the road, the results of a great work done on Saturday by citizens of our communities who certainly made a difference as they cleaned up the roadsides. We offer our thanks for a job well done, as we beg motorists to stop littering our highways.

Virginia has the slogan “for lovers” but she is also a beautiful place to live and may all of us help keep her that way.

The National Association of Retired Federal employees will be celebrating their 80 birthday on Friday, Oct. 26. Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Chrissy Grigsby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby to Keith Robinson son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Robinson, which took place at Amissville Gospel Church last Monday, with Rev. Jim Pitman performing the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mills and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory in Front Royal during the weekend.
