• RCES P.E. Teacher Carol Nowakoski is happy to report the latest results of the Golden Shoe Competition this fall. In order to become the recipient of the coveted Golden Shoe homeroom 4 classes in grades 4-7 must ? reach a minimum pass £ rate for running the mile of f 55 percent. In the spring, 58 percent must pass in each class.
Class winners this fall are: Third Grade, Mrs. Karen Williams’ class (65 percent) and Mrs. Cindy Simpson’s (55 percent); Fourth Grade, Ms. Amy Saxton’s class (55 percent) and Mrs. Linda Way’s (60 percent); Fifth Grade, Mr. Chuck Way’s class (58 percent), Mr. John Schneider’s (60 percent), Mrs. Lois Markee’s (55 percent) and Mrs. Molly Bailey’s (60 percent); Sixth Grade, Mrs. Lilo Wolfe (67 percent) and Ms. Sherron Boddie (56 percent); Seventh Grade, Mrs. Holly Massie’s class (55 percent) and Mr. Caesar Roy’s (74 percent). Congratulations to all of these homerooms, and especially to Mr. Roy’s for having the-highest percentage of all of the classes, and to all of the Fifth Grade classes (every class made it!)! We can hardly wait to see the results next spring!
