the Supreme Court, it would0 be wise to {jet away from political definitions and understand that what is at issue is a limitation on the authority of the Court for the sake of Democracy. While in the past it has been mostly political conservatives who have argued against overreaching by the Supreme Court, the last presidential election should give political liberals cause for concern as well. Neither party is well served by an autocratic Supreme Court that is exempt from election by the people; at least that’s what Jefferson believed.
I have prepared comments on the issue of “separation of chufch and state,” but due to space limitations - that material will have to wait for another issue.
Despite our disagreements, let me say that I wholeheartedly agree with Ben’s comments that debate is a good thing that can help us to learn
