Congressman Eric Cantor visited Washington, Va. on Monday, Oct. 28, and gave local Republicans and other interested voters his views on national security, the economy, prescription drugs for seniors, and other issues of local and national interest.
Mr. Cantor spoke in the Courthouse to some two dozen people, and he told them of Sis perspective on today’s challenges to the County. He said that the number one challenge was the threat that we were awakened to on Sept. 11, and he added that he was very focused on these threats to the “safety of our families.” He noted that he was a member of the House International Relations Committee and that he was a “stalwart supporter” of President Bush’s policies and of the Defense Department, and said that in Congress there is a continuing need to focus on national security.
