But as they were leaving the house, two little children who knew the little girl from school came running after them and said, “We want to go with you because we miss the river and all of it’s friends.”
So the two children joined the little girl and the fairies as they went on their way to the next house. They knocked on the door and when another old man appeared they said again “Please don’t try to ‘trick’ Mother Nature by stopping the river. ‘Treat’ her well and you will have good things in life.” And the man was so frightened by all of the strange fairies, that he didn’t know what to say so he slammed the door as he yelled, “Go away!”
