Hau nted fire house!

Add the Flint Hill Fire Department to your family's Halloween rounds! The haunted fire house opens at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the corner of Fodderstack Road and i Route 522. “Good, clean fright for all ages!" said an organizer.

Fairy Tale walk postponed

Hearthstone School's annual Fairy Tale Walk, scheduled for last Friday, was postponed due to inclement weather. It has been rescheduled for this Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. The public is invited to join the school for an evening of enchantment on the grounds of Hearthstone School, 2 miles west of Sperryville on US 211. Admission $7 per family.

Cutting-edge chiropractic care

On Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. the Rappahannock Healing Arts Center will host Dr. Catherine Bourgeois and Dr. JoAnne Towne, who will offer a free one hour presentation and demonstration of how the body can learn to release physical, chemical and emotional stress on its own using Network Spinal Analysis.
