degree in biology (although I did take several biology and environmental courses in school), no career as a naturalist. However, I saw it as a chance to rationalize my ramblings as “doing research,” rather than just having a wonderful time (and getting dirty) — and to share these journeys with others. The one thing I do know, without doubt, is that the more I learn about nature, the less I know.
