The date for our annual Thanksgiving Community Service has been set for Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church. The Amissville Ruritan Club, Amissville United Methodist Church, Bethel Baptist Church, Amissville United Methodist Women and Amissville Baptist Church have been celebrating this service for over 25 years. All attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the service, as this is our kick off for the Christmas baskets as well. There are special musical groups planned. Plan to attend this time honor tradition in our community.
