Mr. Cantor’s second reason which he stated in that same public debate was that he wanted to protect the American public from cheap unsafe Mexican drugs. This Bill says nothing about Mexican-made drugs only about drugs manufactured in the US. This leads me to believe that Mr. Cantor has never read the Bill; otherwise, why would he make such a statement? Unless the only ones he is trying to protect “are those who brung him to the dance” the pharmaceutical companies and their PACs.
So I am going to vote for Ben Jones because I know he will work to get this bill onto the floor of the House and to help get it passed. There are citizens in this country the wealthiest in the world — who are dying because they cannot afford their medications.
On the question of taxes, Mr. Feeney asserts that “a very few of the top income earners pay the Lions’ share of the Federal Governments revenue.”
Talk about generalizations.
