The home of Joe, Janet, Joseph and Jennifer Peregory on Castleton Ford Road was the setting for a birthday party last Sunday. The celebration was to honor family members, Jofel Peregory and Sheree P. Mills, who both have October birthdays.
In addition to those already mentioned, others attending bringing gifts, food and good wishes were: Kenny and Heidi Peregory of Catlett, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bragg, Kellie, Karla, Matthew and Mark of Culpeper, Jerry Mills and daughters, Shirley, Rebecca and Mary.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of John Henry Fincham, who passed away Thursday at his home in Culpeper. Mrs. Glenn Cave of Route 7Q7 is his niece.
Quite a number of area residents attended the services at Black Oak Regular Baptist Church on Sunday, when a special service was held in dedication of the steeple. Collis Fincham along with his singers and players were invited quests and rendered a number of hymns. A bountiful harvest luncheon was served following the service.
