He also mentioned the Republican push in the House of Representatives for 'legislation to “make sure old people have access to prescription drugs.” He said it was unfortunate that this legislation was among fifty that were stuck by Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle.
The Congressman recalled that he got into politics because he believed that “I can make a difference,” and he said that still believes that each individual can and “that’s why we are the best Country in the world.” He encouraged everyone to “exercise that voice,” and vote in the upcoming elections.
