Eugene "Gene" Rapley Jenkins, 79, of Frederick, Md., died Sunday, Oct. 27.
Born April 25, 1923 in Sperryville, he was the son of the late Herbert and Ida Burke Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Lottie Whitbeck Jenkins; a daughter, Janet Wilbourne of Frederick, Md.; a son, Donald Jenkins of Mount Pleasant, Md.; four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Additional survivors include a brother, John Jenkins of Viewtown; one sister, Ruby Spicer of Culpeper and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by three brothers, Gid Jenkins, Raymond Jenkins and Elmer Jenkins and a sister, Sylvie Armentrout.
Funeral services were held at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick, Md. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Burial was in Frederick, Md.
