The 2002 Farm Bill signed into law by Congress is extensive and complex legislation designed to support both American agriculture and conservation of the soil and water resources on which it depends. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will present a public meeting entitled, Briefing on the 2002 Farm Bill & USDA Programs and Services on Nov. 7, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This informative, daylong session will take place at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Building on the campus of Virginia State University in Petersburg. Additional briefings are planned for the future.
