Four individuals who live outside Rappahannock County served as judges for this contest.
The organizers of the event, including the 35 members of the Sperryville Rescue Squad, were especially grateful for the generosity of some 60 local businesses and individuals who donated prizes and dinners for this pageant to help make it a success, including a special dinner for two for Miss Rappahannock donated by the Inn at Little Washington. A tiara, sash, and trophy were given to all first place winners, with first and second runners up receiving a trophy. All remaining participants received participation (memory/keepsake) trophies. Miss Rappahannock also was awarded a $100 cash prize and a dozen red roses.
