With the approved 20052006 school budget, a starting teacher with no experience in Rappahannock will now earn $33,029.00. This is a 3.5 percent increase from last year’s budget where a starting teacher earned $31,546.00.
Hampton district resident, Carolyn Yowell, voiced her concerns about “taxes increasing year after year.”
