The facts of the case
While much is still unknown about the Lynn murder after 37 years, there are some definite facts that Estes had to go on at the time.
Lynn, a respected physician in Front Royal, lived just outside Flint Hill with his wife Clydetta, two daughters, Patty and Mollie, a son, William, Jr., and Mrs. Lynn’s mother.
Estes recalls a black young man who lived with the Lynn’s, but did not recall his name.
In an interview dated Oct. 1994, Patty Shaw, now deceased, recalled the events of the night her father was killed.
