Conserve and
preserve
One program currently employed by several county landowners is the Conservation Reserve Enhancement program (CREP). The Rappahannock News has previously published information about this program. Informational pamphlets are available from the Extension Office and conservation organizations. A call to the USDA field office in Culpeper will provide detailed information about the program and help with beginning a project.
To see a CREP project in process for one year, The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection (RLEP) is sponsoring a guided tour of Bruce and Susan Jones’ farm on three dates during April.
