Family and friends are receiving community sympathy upon the passing of Earl Pritt of Reva Way, which occurred at his residence on Wednesday. Thoughts and prayers of sympathy go out to neighbors in Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bennett upon the loss of their daughter, Cynthia Marks who passed away recently. '

Birthday greetings for the week go out to Bill Reese and Linda Christensen, both on March 25, Nancy Beach grows another year older on March 27 and Gwen Parker celebrates her day on March 29. May the good Lord add years to each of you.

Intern pastor David Small and the folks at New Salem Baptist Church held their Easter egg hunt for the grades kindergarten through third on Saturday.

The Burr Hill Blue Grass band were among the performers at the Salem Fire Hall for their “Singing and Pickin” party on Friday, March 11. The Fire Departments thanks each one who came out and supported them, this time with a well filled house.

Mrs. Janet Peregory returned to her home on Castleton Ford Road on Tuesday, after spending several days for treatment in Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton and is being visited regularly by family and friends.
