What is the
College Board?
Founded in 1900 and comprised of over 4,500 schools, colleges, universities, and other organizations dedicated to education, the College Board’s mission is “to connect students to college success and opportunity.”
On their web site the Board states, “The SAT measures how well students apply what they have learned in school to analyze and solve problems as they would in college.
