Hearthstone s auction
Mark your calendars and plan to attend Sperryville’s most lively auction on Saturday, April 9 from 3-6 p.m. Hearthstone’s most significant, yearly fundraising event begins with an hour long silent auction at 3 p.m. at the school, located west of Sperryville on Rt. 211. Donations of goods and services from the community are gratefully received by calling 987-9212. Items can also be dropped off during school hours.
Vertical Cabernet Sanvignon tasting
Vertical Cabernet Sauvignon tasting will be held on Saturday, April 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m at Gray Ghost in Amissville. Black-tie optional evening features vintages 1993-2002 of Gray Ghost Cabernets, gourmet hors d’ouevres and discussion. Reservations required. The cost is $64 per person plus tax.
