Michael and Brenda Rutherford though are very proild parents indeed with three of their children placing first or higher in three different categories. Sisters Clarissa and Candace Rutherford placed first in the sisters category while on her own Candace again placed first in the “Little Miss Rappahannock” category.
Dalton Rutherford though was the big winner capturing the title of “Little Mister Rappahannock” along with his crown. The before mentioned Honored Guest, was our own Janie Wines Phillips who is also the former “Miss Rappahannock” from 1995. Phillips, as some of you I’m sure recall, has had a very successful time with pageants herself and has many titles, crowns, ribbons, and trophies to her credit.
It seems one could say, with all of the children from Chester Gap that have done so well recently in local pageants, that we have a lot of handsome and beautiful babies up here on the
