Mrs. Virgie Mozingo Hawthorne, died Sunday March 20.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. In the past years, she was former president of the Bland-White Federation of Richmond,and treasurer of Baptist Women Federation. She was also a member of the Winding Brook. Garden Club and a chairman of the Piedmont District of Garden clubs.
Mrs. Hawthorne was survived by one god son, Tony L, Sharp of Midland Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Bernard Hawthorne.
Funeral services was held Wednesday, March 23. Interment was followed in Westmorlane Cemetery in Richmond.
