A wine for everyone

While Oasis cultivates exclusive champagnes, Salahi prides himself on producing a wine for everyone.

“My philosophy is not to make wine intimidating,” he said, “but to make wine fan.”

For the first time at Oasis Winery, Salahi is bottling 187 milliliter bottles with screw caps.

This will be for wines that do not need to age in the bottle, as the screw cap does not allow the wine to breathe like a cork would.

These bottles are being provided to airlines and Wolftrap currently, selling the Chardonnay and Cabernet at $5 per bottle.

“It is basically a way to encourage Virginia tourism,” Salahi said.

Oasis’ Blush — Dogwood Flower Label, is a light, crisp, refreshing wine, perfect for sitting on the Oasis Winery deck, soaking in the beauty of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains and view of the Skyline Drive.

“It is great to have critics give awards to our wines,”
