Fire Department
looking for new
members
Speaking of members, the Fire Department is always looking to sign up new members wishing to help out in anyway they can.
While fighting fires and running rescue calls is a huge part of the membership responsibilities, those who only want to help with the fundraising side are also needed. If you can cook a pancake, work a grill, park a car or operate a game booth, they could definitely use your help.
Help is also needed to cook applebutter or work a horseshoe tournament. Without folks like you, our department would be hard pressed to raise the money it heeds to meet its goals.
Don’t misunderstand, those wishing to help out their neighbors by fighting fires and running the ambulance are greatly encouraged to join as well. The message is that if you have nothing else to offer besides your time and a set of helping hands, well that just happens to fit all of the department’s needs and it is exactly what we’re looking for.
