events,” explained Stephens, “I expect them to win and make it to Regionals again this year.”
As far as goals for the team, Stephens said he wants the students to improve each and every week. “Going in, you hope to win everything, but with our small numbers we can’t expect to do that, but everyone will improve,” said Stephens.
Unfortunately for the team, they will not be able to take advantage of the new track that is slated for the school because it will not be built until after the season. Hopefully the students can practice on the current cinder track, knowing they are some of the last ones to make an impression on it.
