School started Wednesday for Wakefield Country Day School. Head of School Kathleen Grove stood outside welcoming each student back for the first day of classes. “Welcome back!” Grove said to one first grader, “You look so grown up!”
The first-graders were still getting used to the official uniform while many of the kindergarten students arrived with brightly colored clothes and new backpacks.
