Kritter is now moving in to fill Brown’s position. “Kritter is doing an excellent job filling Sam’s shoes,” Neiters said proudly, “I think overall we are a better team now that all of the players have grown a year.” Kritter now leads the team in kills and is second in blocks.
Junior Kim Hutcheson, leads the team in blocks and comes in second in kills. “Hutcheson had an excellent night against Luray,” said Neiters.
Neiters said that he was proud of the team’s performance Tuesday night, however both the offense and the defense was a little bit off.
“The gym was incredibly hot, ridiculously hot,” he said, “I think it took away some of the spark from the girls.” In spite of that, he was very pleased to note that the team didn’t miss a single serve all night. “That’s pretty rare in a game,” he said, “However, I think that it is something that we should be able to replicate.”
